Final word on yesterday’s post. I guess I was scared in pissing off people. There’s been hundreds of cases in the UK at the moment whereby people are screaming racial abuse or having laws going against their beliefs. I swore I wasn’t going to tiptoe around a subject just because it may offend somebody, but I did yesterday, and I think that I did myself more harm than good. Instead of just posting it and be done with it, I built it up to be more controversial than Rockstar Games. Instead of people saying “ooh, that was funny!”, I was getting “oh, you’re worrying over nothing”. I deserve it. I should’ve just publish it and be damned as I believe that maybe if we all lightened up and didn’t take such petty issues to heart, maybe we’d all be in a better place.
Right, nasty unplesentaries out the way, onto some good stuff (for me). I’m going to Liverpool tomorrow to catch up with Guy and a few other friends, drink an obscene amount of alcohol, play poker, eat Dominos Pizza, and generally have a bitchin’ time. Apparently, we’re going down to the docks on Saturday night. The Docks is the posh area of Liverpool, and where all the most glamourous scousers hang out. If there is such a thing.
Alas, it does mean that my “blog every day in January” that I’ve unofficially got on is coming to an end. Don’t worry, I will be back again on Sunday/Monday. In the meantime, you can amuse yourselves with the following.
- My Forum has been deathly quiet recently, go and post a few messages. You don’t actually need to register to post on two of the forums. I am actually using this trip to convince people to join up, so fingers crossed come monday we will have a plethora of new members.
- I’d appreciate it if those who link to me change their link from http://www.gospelrhys.co.uk/blog.html, to http://www.gospelrhys.co.uk, reason being is that a few people are having trouble accessing the blog at the old link (don’t ask why). I’m going to make a few images as well to link to (kinda like what Han has done on her site, only mine won’t be as good).
I’ve started a Deathpool league. Basically, it’s horribly cruel, and Han has clearly not approven, but what you do is you predict who will die this year, whoever predicts the most right (with added bonuses of age), will win the league. As I said, it’s not for the feint of heart and pure of soul, but my choices range from the obvious (Fidel Castro), to the unlikely but popular (Pete Doherty) to people who I wish would depart this mortal coil, but probably wouldn’t (Lily Allen). To those of you who - like me - are doomed to hell for all eternity anyway, can join this league here:-URL: http://www.deathpool.co.uk/
League ID: 21
Password: gospel- Finally, you can catch up with me and add me to your contacts on all those fantastic social networking sites. Try my Myspace, my Flickr, my Facebook (which includes a picture of me topless, thanks a lot so called “friends” :S), my Digg and my SpicyPage (vote for the Gospel here)!
So, everybody, have a good weekend. I will take photos, I will probably also take videos as well. Aren’t you lucky, lucky people?
