I had another go at cooking pancakes, this was now “My Way”, rather than “Han’s way” on Sunday. I have since decided that I can cook them, and they did taste fabulous. At this point I’d love to show you a picture of my piece of culinary perfection. However, I didn’t have my camera with me, so you’ll have to take my word for it.
Yesterday was probably the warmest day of the year so far, and - one disturbing thing from last year that reared it’s ugly head is that the chavs have come out of hibernation, and into Prince’s Garden’s in Colwyn Bay. Instead of the seren, albeit cold, weather there for my lunch over the winter, I instead have to deal with the lowest form of human existance drinking, swearing and screaming at each others. It’ll be like this until September sometime, and is set to get longer each year, what with global warming.
In my opinion, you should legally be allowed to hunt them.
Finally, I haven’t had any further ideas about what to give up for Lent. I’ve decided to reject all the ideas given to me yesterday (Ally…no). Takeaway two years ago and Gambling last year were both relatively successful (gambling certainly was), but - truth be told - I don’t know if there is anything I want to give up.
So…..any ideas?

I make fantastic pancakes. i would never buy that ready made batter crap. Good pancakes are made from scratch.
It’s one of the things my Dad taught me!
Hey
I couldn’t agree more, my mum was taught by the best (my grandad). Baking up the mix is piss easy, and considerably cheaper in the long run
We did also have an ace pan.
Are you a good tosser?
hahahahahahahaha @ Celeste!
good one!
I made pan caked this morning and I have photographic evidence of their sexyness
and a video of me tossing them.
god that sounds wrong!
hmmm, what do you want to give up!? you know what I want you to give up lol!
Celeste: I have had many nights practice tossing, so I can say I’m an expert tosser.
Han: What you want me to give up can give me colon cancer (it’s true! holding in farts is bad for you), so as much as I care about your nasal passages, I’m not giving it up
I’ll do it myyyyyyyyyyyyyy waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy
Couldn’t resist! Tis always difficult to think of stuff to give up. Don’t smoke and arn’t particularly bothered by cakes/chocolate those surely are the big two. I tried ‘giving up’ alochol, with the exception of when it was anyones birthday. That was alright I guess.
How about give up giving up? That always works well for me

I am definatly a make your own batter girl. I taught my housemates this year and so we finally made it through a pancake day without that pre-made crap
How about giving up posting every single day for Lent. It would help me keep up with your blog much easier!
I had buttermilk waffles with chocolate syrup and a dusting of icing sugar instead. Well, they’re basically the same as pancake batter…
I always fail at Lent… I’ve decided to give up apathy.
I had a friend who gave up chocolate for Lent and lost 10 pounds.
Does that count as a good Lenten sacrifice? SOunded a bit like a “ulterior motive” thing to me.
Anyways, loved the Pancake making pics, I am glad I am not the only one who doesn’t get them round.
Apparently the only English accent I can do is that of the ‘chavs’. Hmph. Don’t hunt me…

I make my own pancakes =) I usually have about 4 on the go at the same time and toss them one after the other!!!
