Change In Blog Competition – Golden Goal

Guy and Han said it would end in tears. They were right. My ego has taken a bit of a fisting today, and not a single girl out there in the blogosphere would want to be my WAG – even in a jokey ironic way. Woe :( . Even had two people call me a male chauvanistic pig, and how I’m degrading women.

Whoops.

Nevertheless, I still have a super fabulous ultra rare Colwyn Bay FC Staff vs. Colwyn Bay FC Fans programme to give away! Watch you jump for joy! And this time, men can enter, as well as women. On top of that, you don’t have to degrade yourself to enter! Yay!

This time, it’s a Golden Goal Competition.

How To Enter

Simply put a link up to this blog or this post on any blog or website (so my regular readers with me already on their blogroll can enter).

How To Play

Simply fill in this form. You need to guess the correct time for the first goal on Saturday’s Match between Colwyn Bay FC Staff and Colwyn Bay FC Fans. For those of you unaware of the beautiful game, it’s 90 minutes long, so a number between 1 and 90 will suffice. 0 or any number greater than 90 will be marked as a “goalless draw” (and trust me, that’s not going to happen.

Entry closes on May 18th.

Decision Making

On the morning of May 19th, all the blogs with all the guesses will be linked to. Then the match will be played. Who ever gets the winning guess will win the programme. In the event of two people getting the same guess, then the winner will be drawn at random out the GATR’s official pint glass. If nobody gets the correct guess, then the closest one to the guess wins it, or there will be a draw, if two or three people are closest.

Questions?

Again, put them in the comment box. What you waiting for? Go!

Damn I always come too late to the party! I think you summed it up well in your last post with ‘it’s just a bit of fun’, thats the way I read it anyways. Guess the wag outfit won’t have to be dusted off..heh

It’s not you Rhys, it’s them and their unwillingness to travel all the way to the Bay for 90 minutes of passion. And by passion I mean football. And by football I most certainly don’t mean sex. Foot & Ball in a sex context? Only in Holland.

    Sorry, too much coffee.
