Dentist (again), A New Blog and A Question

I haven’t much time to write this. Today I am off to the dentist to have work done on my teeth. Yes, I know it’s the dentist, and yes I know I’m the luckiest man alive because I have an NHS dentist. It’s probably still going to hurt like hell, and I’m not going to be happy about it, and it’s still £177 I’d rather have to spend on a holiday. I think he’s just making work for himself, cheeky blighter.

Anyway, with that in mind, it’s going to be a short entry today. I would apologise but you blatantly don’t deserve it. Instead, I’d like to tell you about my new blog: Retro Garden. One of my great passions is old, remade and retro games, so I thought I’d do a blog about it. I’ve only posted 2 articles there so far, but it’s feeling a little lonely. Leave a few comments to what you think please? Even if you don’t know anything about them, that’s okay, I want to educate people rather than be another news blog. Cheers.

So I leave you with a question. Myspace or Facebook?

MySpace and Facebook? I pick Virb.

RetroGarden is very… 2.0 isn’t it! (I’ve just discovered the meaning of ’2.0′ so I’m dropping it in whenever I can)

Hope the dentist isn’t too bad – but then again: that was usually. The dentist is always bad one way or another.

  2. Jem says:

£177? I’d expect gold-plated teeth for that much.

You didn’t give the option “Neither”.

  3. Sibz says:

Facebook is much much better, but I’m also on myspace for those who are unfortunate enough to not have seen the light

  4. Ryan says:

I don’t use either of those and neither should you

  5. Tilesey says:

As I said on my blog yesterday, Facebook is the new MySpace, Myspace is rubbish now…

But I still don’t know why they’re both fun

  6. Sarah says:

I use both but prefer myspace. Facebook is too studenty. Although I hate that everyone has myspace trackers.

  7. Rhys says:

Ryan: But how will I talk to fit Australians?

Jem: Do you go to the dentist? £177 is relatively cheap!

Good news everybody! I’m back from the dentist! Turns out that my tooth is taking longer to heal than lesser mortals tooth, so they can’t put a crown on it. It still cost me £39, but I’m £138 better off for Portugal!

  8. Lottie says:

    Facebook. I bloody hate Myspace.

  9. Debbie says:

Not a fan of either really but I would choose the lesser of the two evils and go for Facebook. Myspace had a lot of potential for unknown bands and things when it began but then it got invaded by the pretentious emo fools.

  10. Jem says:

Do you go to the dentist? £177 is relatively cheap! Pish posh.. cost me £35 for two check-ups and root canal, and I’m *not* NHS!

Nowadays I just pay £9.99 a month and get various checkups, hygienist appointments/etc (and a special newsletter, woo!) for nothing and only pay extra for fillings/etc when needed.

  11. Rhys says:

Jem: You’re in the lucky few! Ask anybody how much crown work would be on private, and I wager they say £400-£600!

  12. Manuel says:

I’m a myspace guy. Never tried facebook. Good luck with your new blog.

  13. Dawn says:

Was originally on myspace, but been converted to facebook. Tis far superior!! :D

  14. Ryan says:

Those myspace australians are not fit, those pictures are off google, really they have an arm growing out of their ass and four boobs… wait that is pretty hot

  15. Rick says:

Does that mean that you’re paying for drinks? :-)

  16. Jem says:

I’m not lucky, I’ve just never had to have crown work ;) Haven’t got a clue how much that costs to be fair..

  17. nAl says:

    Multiply!!!!
