Just a short one today I’m afraid. I’d love to say I had a brilliant excuse, but I am a little down after a rather lackluster Champions League Final. Seems like this football season began with the phrase “Maybe…Just Maybe”, and ends with the phrase “Close…So Close”. Ey Well, there’s always next year.

So, umm, yeah. My biggest regret with my blog is relying too much on Adsense in the early days of the blog, so my last piece of advice is to “Use many different methods of advertising as you are comfortable in using”. Below are some more I use.

Chitika eMiniMalls are those product listings up the top. So far, they’ve earnt me quite a lot ($4, which for 2 days, isn’t bad). I have heard they’re more for people who blog about specific items, rather than a “catch all, whatever the hell I want”, such as myself. You get a selection of items to advertise, depending on their niche. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Auctionads is brilliant. Run by the people who run Text Link Ads, it’s all about having as many people on one eBay account to give better referral rates. If somebody clicks on the ad, and then buys something, you get money. I’ve made about $20 on it so far in the past 2 months, and is compatible with popular Wordpress Plugins.

Direct Selling is the coup de grace, as it’s guarenteed income, and usually a little bit more than usual. It’s hard to get though, as you’re naming the price and companies can turn around and tell you to fuck off. A good idea is to use a plugin such as WP Text Ads to worry about that side of things.

Right, that’s your lot. Normal service will be resumed tomorrow!

Even though it's certainly darker & a more disturbing than the first - one scene in particular was more disturbing than the MW2 "Airport" [rhyswynne]

Not that I am a pervert, it's more a case of EA didn't want the (unfair) controversy surrounding the first, so didn't take risks [rhyswynne]
