The Dream Is Over – Unibond League 1 Playoffs – Cammell Laird vs. Colwyn Bay
Apologies for a short entry today, but I got in at midnight and haven’t written it yet.
Colwyn Bay lost 3-2 in the playoffs to Cammell Laird last night. Cammell Laird were the better side, but I feel we could’ve scraped a draw, and then take it to penalties. A 92nd minute winner decided it. Needless to say, I was gutted, but every single person with an alligence to CBFC should be proud of their team and themselves. It was a great game to watch, and the 2nd half of the season has been, quite frankly brilliant. Whilst we are as a group of fans gutted that we spend another season in the Unibond League 1, it is such an exciting time for us, as we can build on our success. Our Chairman left last night too, so we’re in a prime position for somebody with a bit of cash and business acumen to come along, plonk down £200,000 and build on the success we already have.
All in all, I’m not too gutted, more so when a mate texted me a joke:
“Jose Mourinho has signed a contract to promote viagra. He is well known for not being able to get past a semi”
Genius.
Now, I’m sure 99% of readers are happy Colwyn Bay FC lost last night, because now I’ve got nothing to talk about on this blog until August. It’s been such a big part of my life recently, I haven’t really done much else. With that in mind, what would you like to see talked about on here?
