Baby Names

Am I really such a geek? Well, I saw this:

Skyping Baby Names

Forgive me if I’m an evil man, but I’m so naming my first born “Skype”.

Incidentally, I was actually planning on naming my first born Dylan if it was a boy, and Seren if it was a girl.

What would you name your future children?

I named my daughter ‘Nastassija’ and sometimes I am asked, what was first: The name Nastassija or the domain http://www.nastassija.com

  2. Rhys says:

    Torsten: And which did?

  3. Ami says:

No girl in her right mind would answer this question… I can see the blokes running for miles – ahhh!!! Chick thinking about babies!!!!

  4. Stu says:

I’ll give you fifty bucks if you name your firstborn PimpMyPageRank ;-)

  5. Torsten says:

It really was y daughter’s name which was first, but after we made the decision for the Nastassija and I found out that the domain name was still available, I took it straight away.

  6. Jacob says:

Well, I plan to name my cat “Punclox”…

  7. doctorvee says:

I’m a big fan of Greek names. If I had a girl I would like to name her Alexandra. And, because I’m really imaginative, if it was a boy I would name him Alexander.

  8. Sibz says:

Seren is a beautiful name, good choice

  9. Sayre says:

When I was younger, I dreamed of having a girl (being surrounded by boys as I was). As a teen, she would be named Diana Dresden. As a young married, her name changed to Frances Jocelyn. After the divorce, her name changed to Jocelyn Adair. Then I got married again, and my daughter would be named Judith Jocelyn. Then I had a boy, which I was totally unprepared for. We named him Zachariah Paul. So much for planning ahead.

  10. Torsten says:

Diana Dresden? Like the city in Germany? Reminds me of someone who called the child San Diego cause they married there and most probably the child was made there. Some similar reason?

  11. Rhys says:

Maybe Torsten. I know Brooklyn Beckham is so named because it was where (apparently) David and Victoria conceived him.

Be a pain if it really happened in somewhere like, say, bangkok :)

  12. Torsten says:

Sorry, conceived is the word I didn’t know.
Actually when you would name the child Bangkok cause of this reason, it isn’t really a pain. In most cases wife doesn’t know about it. ;)

  13. Grace says:

That is hilarious. I like it so much, I gave you a click on an Adsense ad. :)

  14. Ami says:

I love Seren too, Rhys…. Its lovely. [ No jokes about Welsh babies, please!!! ;) ]

  15. Sayre says:

Yes, Dresden as in Germany. I was thinking “doll”.

  16. Han says:

    Boys:
    Garrison Paul Nevesse
    Daniel Jason Dasaro

    Girls:
    Dacey Paris May
    Lynden Corrie Ray

And theres no question about it..though the girls are open to debate as I included paris before I know who paris hilton was!
