I posted this comment somewhere else, but I stand by it. Wait a couple of weeks, it'll get hot and sunny and the water companies will slap on a hosepipe ban. There'll be complaints and they'll say that its because all this stuff is "the wrong kind of rain"... anyone with me?

Yeah, we are also suffering from the weather in the moment, just different. Instead of rain, which I haven't seen since something like 6 months +, we had today 40 degrees celsius already at 10 a.m.
Can't we share a little bit of everything?

Yo, sorry I've not been around to comment, but I have just got updated on the posts I missed. Flooding, tell me about it, the rain at Glastonbury almost never stopped! Anyway, just thought I'd say that its quite hard to tell from that pic how high we really are, maybe if you'd included the pier or a church spire you could get a bit of a sense of how far down and away the town is... oh well
