I’ll add you later as a friend, I can’t remember my friend code right now (stupid friend codes). Hammer spammers are pretty annoying, but its all about learning to counter – thats what makes this game so great. When they use their hammer dodge, use yours, then you should be able to tackle them before they recover and do a special move. As for Birdo, just stick a player directly in front of them, and it stops the egg.

Also, whilst you don’t have direct control over the keeper, it certainly feels to me that if you act like you do (i.e. waggle the Wiimote to tackle nearby enemy strikers, run towards them with control stick) it tends to work.
