Been to the Netherlands and would recommend Groningen (NE ish of Netherlands) and well worth visiting the Afsluitdijk ( a massive man-made Dike thing with a road along it that runs for miles)

Wow I am totally jealous, Oktoberfest in Germany is the best ever, have a stein or two for me while you are there! I look forward to hearing which cities are the best/worst on the trip.

Lets hope you aren’t stuck on a coach with a bunch of complete idiots, although it could make for some more good blog stories.

I can proudly say I’ve been to 7 of those 10 places and they are some of the best places in the world that I’ve seen. Have you been to any of them (besides London) before? I went to Munich, but it’ll be completely different during Oktoberfest. You’ll have a hectic time it’ll be awesome I’m sure!

But, the coolest city I think I’ve seen would have to be Dubai! It’s absolutely bizarre, your brother has good taste. The coolest city, and the coolest country (Australia..der). Actually I’ve always wanted to go to Thailand.

Goodluck paying it off… You could always get into the adult entertainment industry???

Looks like a cool trip Rhys lad. I imagine the 2 weeks would be pretty manic. Did 3 weeks on a similar route last summer in a camper van, drive by night chill/tourist stuff by day. Was great tho.

Wasn’t overly impressed by Monaco, in fact a little disappointed. Mainly because there was no where to park our cool (but too tall for the car parks) VW camper, except for on the harbour/dock in the middle of the International Yacht show and it was getting snobby looks from all the rich folks in Rolls & Bentley’s. I’d like to give it a second chance, maybe try the casino’s and the Grand Prix circuit in something which does 0-60 quicker than the camper. Walking may do the trick!

Italy was definitely the highlight. Such as great place to go. And Oktoberfest sounds great. Esp. if they sell lots of Guiness in massive jugs.

Thanks for the google ads last night btw. Will mention commision to the boss if they helped.

That does look like a quality trip. Monaco, Amsterdam, Munich, all sounds awesome. Pretty cool to experience lots of different countries too (even though some of them are cheese eating surrender monkeys – hehe). I’d be up for a guest blog spot, having never done one it could be an interesting foray for me to the other side of the monitor as it were. Plus you wouldn’t need to worry about me over linking / adsensing stuff ‘cos I don’t have anywhere to promote myself!
