Yesterday was apparently the luckiest day this millennium, so far. The reason? Because it’s 07/07/07. Personally, I don’t believe in that crap as I’m a bit of a realist (plus the fact my lucky number is 27). Nevertheless, I thought I’d at least try something, so I bought a scratchcard. Bet none of your “money making blogs” would think about that, eh?

Bollocks.

Oh well, I spent the luckiest day doing manual labour at Colwyn Bay FC, buying shoes and generally working on the New Thing That Comes Tomorrow (or Maybe Today)â„¢. Basically, anything to avoid Live Earth.

I’m sorry, but if I wanted to see a bunch of wet c-words being hassled by overinflated cocks, I’d download pornography.

Didn’t realise yesterday was, supposedly, the luckiest day of this millenium, heh. Not that it would have changed my day. Scratch cards and the lottery are a waste of money but, hey, might as well play out these superstitions :p

My music taste is quite limited so I probably wouldn’t have heard of or liked the music of the acts.

I spent the 7/7/7 watching the cricket at trent bridge. After a few early wickets, Ian Bell (number 7) quickly raced to a score of 7, and then stayed on that for a few overs, including 3 succesive appeals against him turned down. I thought “there, thats it, thats decided it, we may be down but we’re not out, he’s going to be the luckiest man on this luckiest day. He will lead us to victory”.

We lost. By 93 runs. Oh, and ian bell, the luckiest man, made 27. Fucknuts.

I was hoping for some luck myself, but nothing happened. And, I boycotted the Live Earth as well. The best thing I did that day…

Being 07/07/07 I totally forgot about luck. I could have bought a lottery ticket. Would it have made it more lucky if I had bought it at 07:07:07 on 07/07/07??

The London Live Earth just seemed so shite in comparison with a couple of the others. The sound was shot to pieces for a lot of the earlier bands and apart from a few acts the line up was pretty naff. Not to mention the environmental messages just seemed tacked on at the last minute. Especially since they interviewed Jack Osbourne who admitted he didn’t recycle and having reviewed the effects didn’t think it was worth it.
Plus didn’t we have the Diana concert last week? Too much too soon.

Oh and, I won $3 on a contest from Ryan on that day. :) I guess it depends on what you do before 7/7/07?
