OMG that *is* romantic! /swoon! I miss the good ol' DOS days, back when a floppy really could hold an entire system backup and all. It was good times, those early days. My fave thing about computers then (well, about Windows 3.1) was running the disk defragmenter. I loved watching the little coloured boxes from [up here] get processed and moved to [down there]; it was like some sort of glimpse into the way my computer thought. Okay, maybe I romanticized my computer a little too much... Just curious, are you going to do a write up of the steps you went through with your computer? Link to the programs or whatnot? Visit woolworths.. i think it can only lead to good things - and to coin your phrase, give madam palmer a well earned rest from ballroom waltzing ;) back to the days of sandwhich shop days and a like - huzzah for ye olde comedy blogging days :) just my 2 pence worth...
