Saturday’s Video – Folklore

Hi everybody! I regularly get sent videos to look at, so as Saturday’s are completely empty (plus I don’t want them cluttering up the week – smart blogging people!), I’m going to post my favourite one from the week. Here’s today’s video.

I got sent this trailer for a video game called Folklore, which is a game for the most rubbishest of game consoles, the PS3. From the looks of the trailer, it seems to be similar to Final Fantasy. I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about the game, but the trailer did steer enough from the “Boring Video Game Trailer That Tries To Much To Be A Movie” garbage that there is nowadays. I’ll let you be a further judge.

Anyway to watch it, click here.

Now, if you’re reading on, without watching it, so be it, but I kind of spoil the video, and you won’t understnad the rest of this entry.

That trailer scared the bejesus out of me! I was not expecting to jump like that, and I am sure I wasn’t the only one. Can you do that in trailers? Effectively a screamer. I guess they can, but meh. Made it a bit different.

Right, today I am hungover, and will be going to watch The Mighty Seagulls hopefully trounce Newcastle Blue Star, then hopefully watch the English get battered by the Saffas. Go the Spring-gulls! Or the Sea-boks!

Rubishest of game consoles?!?! You’re just jealous. It’s a beauty…

Nah, that didn’t scare me, I actually thought something was wrong with it… then I realised it was meant to be that way.

The PS3 has lots of good features, but its log in system is trying to work like that of XBox Live, and it does it pitifully.

So I bought the XBox 360 Elite, which after adding several upgrades to get it on par with the PS3, ended up costing the same amount (and I haven’t even got the HD DVD drive for it yet… if I bother).

But, PS3 doesn’t have Halo 3. Enough said.
