Forgive me if this post is a bit ranty, but I feel I must defend my country.
A story that I got sent approximately 45 million times yesterday was a story from Ananova. According to a poll by Rubbish Spammy Social Networking Site WAYN, they have ranked the top 10 and bottom 10 lovers. They are:

Needless to say, the whole “Fifth Worst! God you’re all crap!” thing got a bit annoying. It’s obvious to me that it isn’t me. I’ve been keeping my end up…of the bargain. Not my fault my ex’s weren’t interviewed, and one of the people interviewed was Anne Robinson.
The reason given was that the Welsh were “Too Soppy”. So what if we love our mums? You hard nosed generation of women have obviously confused passion with soppyness. You wouldn’t complain if we were kittens or something. All I know, from what I’ve heard, I wouldn’t touch Italian men with a 20 foot bargepole. Welsh are great shags.
Of course, when I say that Welsh are great shags, I can only speak about me. I’ve had no complaints. A lot of moaning, but no complaints 
I’d like to see an alternative about women, but that’d probably be construed as sexist, and objectifying women.
Still. In your face Yanks!

You would expect the South Africans and Australians would be wayyy higher to from what I have heard

You clearly haven’t spoken to Guy then Rhys. South Africans and Aussies are very good in the bedroom department.
I don’t know many Welsh people (thank God ;oD) so I can’t really comment but I totally agree that soppyness would put me off. I like strong, manly grrrrrr guys - and lately i just keep meeting guys who are very new age. Don’t get me wrong a guy who can express his emotions is great but I’ve yet to meet a guy who is balanced. They always lean one way or another.
I think the English are underestimated. I’ve had some amazing sex with English guys.

i don’t claim to be anything great… its fun and if it comes along.. yay! sex is always better/more fun with someone you really like! surely that means it doesn’t make a difference where there from?! unless its a farm in which case you should seek help…..
As a fellow Welshman Rhys I can’t agree with you more. Although right now I’m considering killing a certain Frenchman if he looks at a ‘complicated’ girlfriend of mine.
Welsh are soppy, it is true, but we’re also over charged on passion. Something which doesn’t always get reported on - unless the aforementioned murder of a Frenchman comes into play.
Haha, well there is such a thing as a crime of passion, and it’s legal in French Law

As someone who has slept with some welsh and some english men (the welsh at one point were more than the english) I can honestly say it was about the same.

Im late in on this one… But in my experience Welsh guys are a brilliant shag… Up there with the Irish! And the italians well, not so good! Nor the french.
