Coyote Ugly and Free Crap

Yeah, I tried to take a photo in the style of a cowboy hat over the door, like a western DVD cover. I failed, sorry. Kinda defeats the image with the Simpsons poster by the door.

So yes, this weekend (specifically Saturday) will be a busy day. For one, I am learning to drive, for two, Colwyn Bay play Spalding United in a game that could still see us into the playoffs (I’m writing this on Thursday night, so if we beat Belper Town and Spalding United and if Grantham Town lose to Kidsgrove Athletic, then we’ll be there).

But the most fun comes in the evening where we have a “Cowboy & Coyote Ugly Night”. Basically, the best club in Llandudno – Club 147 – is 4 years old, so they’re having a party. And, hell, I haven’t been out in a while, so we’ve organised a few of my friends and myself to go.

Truth is, everybody knows what the Cowboy part is (I’m trying to work out if I look more Brokeback Mountain than Walker, Texas Ranger), I have no idea what the Coyote Ugly Part is. Any suggestions?

Finally, as a little gift I rather drunkenly ordered free business cards from ooprint.com, and they arrived today, check them out (you have to pay shipping, hence the drunken orderness).

Question is, what am I going to do with them?!?

  2. Celeste says:

I’m pretty sure yo’ve asked what Coyote Ugly is already (frankly for not knowing I don’t think i can be associated with you anymore) and Deb told you……

    Look it up on Wikipedia!

    Did I?

    Christ my memory’s going :(

  4. Kristoff says:

Coyote Ugly, I imagine will be for the girls to dress up as texan whore bar ladies who dance on bars.

I think that’s what the film was about.

Also, put your business cards up in phone boxes, the ones with adverts for prossies and the like

I feel a competition coming. “Wynne” a signed business card from self-proclaimed legend Rhys Wynne. All you need to do is write in at most 20 words why you love Rhys’ blog….

    Or something

  6. Debbie says:

Heh yeah it sure is, I think it was last week ;)

  7. Carly says:

    Can I have one? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaseeee?

  8. Carly says:

In Derby we actually have a bar called Coyote Wild, which features said girls.

  9. Karen says:

Do you get junk mail through the letterbox? With them pre-paid envelopes? I reckon you should send these envelopes back with just your card in them. Someone gets paid to open up the envelope and i bet they’d check you out. Never know who will be looking :)

  10. Ryan says:

You should stick them up in phoneboxes – you want a good time… give gospel rhys a go.

  11. KingPin says:

    You could…

    A) Stick them under peoples car window wipers on your way back from a night out

    B) Use them to burn and keep yourself warm? :p
