Of course, the fact that when the football ends, so does the majority of my social life.
Saturday night proved how weak my social life is around North Wales. Long story short, the Coyote Ugly night turned into a bit of a damp squib due to various stages of drunkenness of the group. Some ended up going home early and the rest kinda filtered off elsewhere. Either way, I was in bed by 11pm. Not in a good way, either.
Before this week it has been great! With the exception of away games (which I haven’t been to many due to the fact I’ve got driving lessons in the morning), I have been busy at least one day a weekend. Couple that with the football on Monday, and sometimes even a Tuesday game, and I have been kept busy.
Now, for the next few months, only the Monday night kickabouts will remain.
I need another interest. With advent of videoblogging now (next one on Thursday by the way), I’m now blogging a lot less but still producing the same amount. Either way, I can afford a few hours in the evening to do something.
But what?
Fact is, whilst I watch most sports, I have no idea how to get into them. I’m scared I won’t be any good at them, and will end up embarassing myself.
But do I want to do another sport? I would love to do something a bit different, but what?
I guess I do the same as every other summer - sod all. Which is a shame, as I’ll be bored. But then, it’s only July before the football season kicks off again, and we have the Euro’s.
What can I do for the summer?

I am really into badminton at the moment, you should give that a try
There is always rugby union?
I said I wouldn’t bother watching the Euro’s as England aren’t going but I probably will, there’ll be bugger all else on the tv.
I’m already counting down the days until the NFL starts again!!
Screw sport!!
I think you should learn an instrument (if you don’t already play one)
Do you play any? If not, you could go for the standard instrument the world and his granny plays, the guitar, but you could take a different take on it, maybe learn lap steel guitar? Or ukulele. Or, I think a good instrument to take up would be banjo.
My advice > Everyone else’s
I think you should take up knitting
or even better if you want a sport - Extreme ironing!
How about some nice old fashioned self improvement courses?
What’s a social life?
Move to London!
Seriously - since I’ve moved here I constantly have plans. That’s why my blog is so quiet.
I’m having so much fun.
GTA IV.
The official end of my social life.
Summers are to generally go for holidays on the beaches. I just love them……
