Playing Catch Up

One annoyingly blissful thing about going on holiday is that certain things take a back stage. As such, with the able lexography of my wonderful guestposters, combined with the able ability to put non-important thing on the backburners. What was important? Well, that’s for me to know and you to find out. However, it does seem to me (as the same happened in Latvia and on my Eurotrip) that if I ever need advertisers, go away for two weeks.

One thing that was affected was my feed reader. I do not have the time or energy to read about “How I can increase my twitter feed subscribtion by 300%”, so a quick “Mark all as read” has emptied it.

I have missed so much. I’ve missed Plurk, the latest Web 2.0 startup the blogosphere are pleasuring themselves over, I’ve missed Sven becoming the Mexico manager, Sparky becoming the Man City manager. I’ve missed the build up to the Euro’s, and the start of Big Brother 9. Shame.

But it’s the blogs I’ve been concerned over. Have I missed any doozy of posts? Pimp them in the comments please!

Oh and by the way, there’s good reason this is a short post. Jet lagged to buggery. Any tips of getting over it?

I had to watch a parent hold a toddler in the street so she could pee everywhere, regardless of the locality of the toilets around her… And then there was the amusing Kid-Kicking-A-Wall video I came across…

But get your butt onto Plurk, all the cool kids are doing it – so I’ve joined in as well hoping to catch some “cool” ;)

Jetlag is normally pretty easy to get used to but you have to start the moment you get on the plane. Change your watch to local time of where you are going and then its just a case of forcing some sleep on yourself. Personally i find jetlag much worse going back than forward so you should be ok!! :P

  3. A trick to cure Jet Leg is Nytol. Not the herbal stuff, the over-the-counter stuff which contains Diphenhydramine. Take that about 20-30 minutes before you want to go to sleep, and you’ll fall asleep easily.

Alternatively, stay awake overnight and then go out so you can’t fall asleep during the day.

    What’s a lexography?
