Certain things really annoy me, least of all the amount people view as “trying”.
Let me explain, I have something rarer than rocking horse manure here in the UK – a dentist on the NHS, as such, I don’t have to pay extortionate fees dentist charge to go private, so in a way I’m lucky.
However, yesterday my faith was tested.
I was due an appointment for a simple quick and easy checkup, and upon arriving in Rhyl, I was informed that the dentist was off today. Fair enough, I thought, but why didn’t they try and contact me?
Turns out they did, but only left a messsage on my answering machine, which I didn’t get.
Needless to say, I was miffed. This wasn’t made any easier by the fact they said that I wouldn’t be refunded (which is fair enough, but it annoys me if the boots were in the other situation it’d cost me £50!), and that it’d be “an excellent idea” if I gave them their mobile.
Grrr, sorry for a rant, but I’m a bit miffed!
How’s your week going?

My week is awesome, worked Sunday and I’m in Thursday/Friday and off the rest. Not bad for a 39hour a week contract.
I’m pretty lucky that I have a NHS dentist too, I would never go if I’d to pay for everything.
My week is great. You know, being a student means a lot of free time
. My dad and step mom is coming to visit me this weekend which means free food =). Gosh, it’s expensive being a student =). Have a fab week! xxoo
Hang on, you paid for a service and then the person decided not to show up to provide the service? Damn right you should get a refund!
I agree with almost witty; you should be able to get a refund or at the very least not have to pay for your next one.
