Weekends Events

Post Christmas blues? Not me.

I don’t know why, maybe because my New Years Resolution didn’t really last that long (I had a couple of beers after work tonight and haven’t been to the gym because the form that you fill in is rather long, whoops!), or maybe because this weekend is jam packed.

I’m off to Manchester for a few thrills and spills. Both thrills and spills will be had with Chill Factor. Yes, as if it wasn’t cold enough in Colwyn Bay, I’m paying to go even colder, to snowboard, toboggan and other sorts of skiing stuff I’m too poor and unattractive to go to the south of France to do. It should be fun.

Following that, it’s Cycling Revolution.

Remember the Olympics, where our green and pleasant land’s cyclists (including the rather delicious Victoria “Sex on Legs on Wheels” Pendleton – right) whooped the collective behinds of every nation on the earth? Well, it turns out that to capitalise on Cyclofeverâ„¢, they are holding events in velodromes around the country

It’s dirt cheapish (£12), and should be a good laugh, so I’m really looking forward to it.

Following that I’m staying in a hostel in Manchester, so I will go home, sleep, and get the train back in the morning.

See you Monday! Photos to follow!
