To quote The Graduation Song from High School Musical:-
So we talked all night about the rest of our lives.
Where we gonna be when we turn 25?
To answer the question, in work, and – not really doing too much exciting. But my mum is cooking me sea bass for tea, and I’m having toffee cheesecake. No idea what I’m getting, cards I’m getting, or what. But nevertheless, I’m excited. Because I’m getting old. Let me explain with another song. This time with the use of the rather excellent Frank Turner.
“Well I guess I should confess that I am starting to get old
All the latest music fads all passed me by and left me cold
All the kids are talking slang I won’t pretend to understand
All my friends are getting married, mortagages and pension plans”
Well I’m getting one of them mentioned. Or looked into getting one.
See you soon! I’m spoiling you this week!
Update: The best thing about birthdays – particularly 25 year old ones – is that adverts like this will become a thing of a past on facebook.

The worst thing: automated forum messages. Boo them!

Massive Happy Brithday! 25, hmm, that is starting to get pretty old huh. I’d not really thought about all of us turning 25 this year. Hope you’re having a fun day!
Happy quarter-of-a-century!
Happy birthday, Rhys!!!
I can’t even remember when I was 25. I know I was married and living in Oklahoma, but I think I blocked the rest of it out…
Your 25 is going to be MUCH better than mine!
