Blogging is More Than Just Blogs - Some of my closest “blogging” friends hardly ever visit my blog. Some stay on Twitter, and I network there, rather than here. In the olden days of blogging, you only had to have one place to blog on, now you need several, with a main hub (a blog), and then a Twitter account, a Youtube account etc, especially if you want to grow.
Twitter Reduces The Entry Level of Blogs - So many of my friends who haven’t got blogs do have twitter accounts. However they do have Twitter accounts. There’s less of a entry barrier (both financial and effort wise) than blog, plus there’s less of a guilt trip if a twitter account gets abandoned.
All in all, I’m very happy with it, despite the “Errrs” and “Ummms”. Amazing that it came from a question that Ben Barden asked me over MSN. Let me know what you think!
In other news: I’m not the only person in the office with media interest. My work mate James is getting a lot of media interest with his Google View in Llandudno post. Feels wierd, as a new media company, we’re getting a lovely amount of old media interest.
