So, over the weekend, I had a great time in Edinburgh, for the Marathon. On the plus side – I didn’t die! No, I’m still kicking and screaming, and here are some vital statistics from my run!
- Time: 1 hour, 3 minutes and 48 seconds - Yes, I’m a little gutted who didn’t break 1 hour, but there were technical problems with my run (okay, I admit, updating my twitter during the run didn’t exactly help.)
- Money Raised: £105 – One target I did break was raising over £100 for CRY, which is a great result, thank you all for donating! You can still donate by clicking here!
- Beers Drunk The Night Before - 2.
- Beers drunk after the event - loads.
Overall, a great weekend, plus….I dunno, I actually really enjoyed the finish! I’ve also got another charity event this weekend – Colwyn Bay FC Fans vs. Ayrshire Outsiders in a charity football match for Boots For Africa (plus we’re getting a nice evening meal Saturday night!). Apparently they’re a bunch of wrestling fans. Shall I promote the BWP? Oh yes.
