Twas the blog post before christmas,
And throughout the blogosphere.
Traffic was down on websites,
As Christmas time was near.Nobody really cared to be honest,
As twitter was unusually quiet.
RSS & Facebook were slow in updating,
People were on a social media diet.Yes, balls to banner impressions,
Who cares about CPM?
Who’s arsed about adsense income?
It’s Christmas time again!Yes, websites had DHTML snowflakes,
And jQuery fairy lights.
CSS backgrounds with holly and ivy,
And other such festive shites.SEO Campaigns had come and gone,
Making affiliates lots of gold.
Comment spammers of Myrrh & Frankinsense,
In their stockings they’ll find coal.St. Nick, whilst working away, he twitted,
“Look at Santa Claus & Rudolph soaring up high!
Merry Christmas to twitterers and the blogosphere
And to the world, have a bloody good nigh”
Merry Christmas to all my readers! I’m taking a break until the new year, so no new posts from me. There’ll be some guest posts though hopefully, just waiting for them to come through.
