I did publish it. Honest. I just don’t what happened with it. Anyway, I’m going to directly answer some of the points in it, and add a few other points.

Not Going To See Wales
Yes, there was a moment on Thursday where I may have been able to go and watch Wales vs. Australia in the Millennium Stadium. However, it wasn’t meant to be. Which meant I almost couldn’t bear to watch.

Particularly after a famous victory.

Yes, after coming ever so close against South Africa and being overpowered by New Zealand after an epic beginning, we finally did ourselves justice by beating Australia 21-18 in a famous victory at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium.

Needless to say, can I say this: Rolf Harris, my namesake, Dame Edna Everage, Shane Warne….your boys took one hell of a beating!

Yes, I’m actually not as bad as I thought I was, and a weekend playing with Cammy (which probably explains the point above), I’m actually pretty good now. As a result, I’ve been winning a lot more, found some competition that have been added to my friends list, and feel justified to write a review. The review is below, but long story short: get it.

Christmas Cards
Thinking of doing my usual Christmas Card love in. I got cards from all over the world, from the States & even New Zealand. Shall I do it again this year?

So much as changed. Sure, Concert Square and Matthew Street is still the same, as is the centre, but the new thing is the Liverpool One Shopping Centre, when I was in university (which was little over 3 years ago) it was a bus station! I did come out of it and I had no clue where I was!

Not all is good though, the credit crunch has hit. One such place was Bar Cava, the Tequila bar. It was very, very quiet, and they had an own brand, rather than Jose Cuervo, tequila. Shame, as I loved that place when it was packed.

Also, it was noticably quiet around, though Popworld was still rocking. And I have decided, I do want Katy Perry to be the mother of my children, as this was the song of the night.

Now, two days later? I feel very meh. Stress with a number of things I really shouldn’t be stressed with. At least Street Fighter 2 HD Remix is out tomorrow! Hurrah! Check out my interview with the SSFIITHDR musicians on Retro Garden here. Anybody getting it?

But first, the Xbox, and it’s use (along with Red Bull) in parenting little shits. I’m sure people just plonk their little darlings in front of Halo 3, and leave them to rip the piss out of whoever they see online. In this case, me. Of course, being a “man from the internet”, they are not harming me by offending me. I never did appreciate the lack of Wii conversation until now.

That being said, when I do switch it off, or I’m speaking to a mate, I love it.

So yes, Christmas, and what people want to get me? This isn’t an arrogent post by the way, people have said “Rhys, drop hints on your blog!”, so here goes.

Weekend away in Liverpool with Ian this weekend, and maybe some exciting news for me regarding my hobby (which I’ve been neglecting the past few weeks), wish me luck!

Not so.

You see, despite the fact the console worked, and I could play Lego Indiana Jones (Awesome), Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 (good, very much like every other smackdown though), Kung Fu Panda (really don’t want to play) and Viva Pinata (probably will be on ebay by the time you read this, still in box though, any good?), I couldn’t actually save my games - the hard disk was corrupted worse than Harvey Dent - so I had to take it back.

So a quick trip to Argos I grabbed a new one, and it all works awesomely once again. Hurrah!

Also, I’ve managed to get the bad boy online. My gamertag is rhysieboy84. What’s yours?

Basically, I wanted to keep a secret from as many people as possible, as it’d put me under pressure. Lord knows I was under enough. I think nerves got me in the end.

I had 14 minors (which is just enough to pass), but I got two minors. The first was pulling out in front of a bus, and the second was stalling going up a hill.

So all in all, I really don’t have anything to complain about.

Strange thing is now is that - well - I feel okay. Yes I know I’ll have to go to Rhyl, and yes I know it’s more expense, but I’ve survived 24 years of not driving, as long as I keep at it, it will come. Yes, Melissa may pass her test before me, but fuck it, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

That, and I may have bought an Xbox 360. Score.

Have a good weekend?

Unfortunately, my favouritest band in the world ever - Feeder - were playing in the Venue Cymru. So I sucked it up, went to work (I believe that if you’re doing something fun in the evening, you HAVE to go to work. No excuses).

Anyway, I arrived as late as i could  with my mum (who was scared at the age of the crowd, but luckily there was a good mix of ages from very young to very old), to give myself as much time as possible, plus I missed the support act who I wasn’t really too bothered in seeing - Fightstar (featuring Charlie from Busted).

They actually were pretty good what I saw of them, but next was Feeder. Who entered the stage the coolest way. Nobody saw them, until they started playing their guitars, when the stage was bathed in white light.

I had seen Feeder before (5 years ago, ouch), and when I had, I was really into Feeder, plus they only had 3 albums. Now they had 6, and - unsurprisingly - I haven’t got two of said albums. As such, I was a little clueless with some of the songs. Luckily, they utilised some rather awesome visual effects in the back, so I was happy staring at them.

After about an hour, they left the stage, obviously to build up an encore. It was expected, as they had displayed a rather impressive Welsh flag on the background.

They came back and played two more songs, one was Seven Days In The Sun, and then finally Just A Day, and everybody left home happy.

Was an awesome gig. I had completely sweated out my cold. Hurrah! So if the rest of the Feeder tour is cancelled because Grant Nicholas has manflu. I apologise profusely.

Yes, it’s Bonfire night, but that’s not important. Tonight I’m going to watch Feeder in Venue Cymru.

Feeder are probably my favourite band ever. I love all of their songs, and - despite not actually knowing any of their most recent songs, I do still love them, and consider myself one of their “old school fans”.

I do think it’s getting cooler to live in North Wales, now we’re getting big bands (we’ve had Feeder, Stereophonics, Doves & Manic Street Preachers playing in Llandudno recently), and - it’s getting more and more bearable to live here by the day. I’ve seen them before, all I know is that I cannot wait.

Friday however was the big day, Halloween. I asked in the last post what would I dress up as. Anyway, only one person - William Gardner responded. And guess what?

He was right.

I was unsure if I could pull it off, but after applying the makeup, I was happy. I loved it! It was great, and got incredible responses from my friends, on my facebook, and especially on plurk, where a certain Darth Claire expressed her desire to do things with me. I feel I must point out that the illusion is completely lost the second I take my jacket off.

Anyway, was fun. I’ve still got the jacket too, so I may keep it for another time, or I may ebay it. We will see.

The other two things on saturday was me being over an hour late for HB - who we went to watch our new love that is Colwyn Bay FC (he’s a huge Davey Challinor fan, bless him) - the reason being I was getting a new phone! The previous one was knackered so I splurged myself on a contract and a Samsung F480. It’s a sexy beast, with a touch screen. Although I got pretty creative writing texts without a’s, b’s & c’s, it’s nice being able to write them properly again!
